Switched Rooms

I'm always up for a change.
I'm getting my chicas used to that idea, too!

So, I figured: it's spring break!
Lets change things up a bit!

I switched the girls rooms around...including the actual girls, too!

This was Eleana and Gigi's "room" but, it's now......
Raina and Nelly Jane's room!

I couldn't move the bunkbeds by myself, so, they stayed.
Everything else I moved with the help of Nelly!
She's my little protege!

So, this is now Eleana and Gigi's room:

Photo Shoot

Lots of random pics.
Prepare.

Nelly, decked out for her mommy date.

Playing with the iPad:
 They call this "ponyo face"

Anime!

By this point, Gigi wasn't so happy cause her sisters were laughing so hard.
She decided to cover her ears.
"Too Loud!!"

And, this one is just plain cute.

Our daily Tea-Time:

I think that's it for today!

I became Mrs. Cory DeWinkle.
Yep, 5 years and 4 kids to show for it!
If you do the math of the age of the kids....it could amount to some sort of wrongfulness.
But, for those of us that know us.
You know the story!
It's all good!

What an amazing 5 years it has been!

We celebrated by heading to moscow for the weekend.
We left the munchkins with my paretns and spent Friday night at a lovely
Bed and Breakfast, The Greenbriar Inn (thank you livingsocial)!
It was great!
So relaxing and easy.
We spent Saturday morning thriftstoring.
Always an adventrure!

For lunch, I made Cor branch out and experience Sushi.
I think I proved to him what he has been missing out on, these past 27 years!

We spent the rest of Saturday with my parents.

Sunday, we went to church, ate some lunch, then headed back to the Treasure Valley.
It's always a sad day and an exhausting one when we have to go home..

Piper:

It was nice enough outside that we could roll down the windows and let the breeze in!

So, that was it.

A wonderful weekend!

We also left Raina with my parents for the week.
Nana and Papa all to herself.
She's in heaven....

House Pictures

Cory's finished red chair...still needing another one to match!

Ok, so, there are quite a few pics of the living room.
I have changed things around a few different times...

This is one of my favorite pieces!!
It's an old record player holder thingy. I don't really have an official name for it.
But, I love it!
It was ugly brown wood before and was only $20 at a thrift store!

Plus, it has really cool slats on the shelves below so it works perfectly for kiddos books!

Ok, an addition!
A tv.
So, now we can watch tv or movies together as a family.
Something we have never really done before!
It's so nice!

Moved some pieces around in this corner now, too!

Dining room now has a hutch! Yay!

A few other miscellaneous pictures...

This was a very ugly yellow cradle with Elmo stickers on it.
Sadly, yes. Elmo stickers.
I updated it with my own stickers.
Take THAT Elmo!

It's for her doll, Mary.

The office has the rug from the living room

Our room got re-arranged.
Love it!

*****

Here is the hutch, in progress...

Final product!

These are fun!
I got them the other day at Graples and I realized that I wasn't a fan of the color.
It looked better in the store.
Well, rather than return them, thought I should probably just repaint them!

BEFORE:

AFTER:

Mucho better, eh?!!

Also, for those wondering....

No, our house is not for sale anymore.
We gave it about 9 months and only had about 9 showings.
Depressing? Yes, a bit.
But, God obviously has something in mind for us!
So, looks like we're sticking to Melba for awhile....
Could be worse, I suppose?!

Well, our realtor said that we could still have the signs up and show it if we'd like.
Why would anyone want to do that to themselves?
It was bad enought with just the stress from having it listed!
No, thanks!!

Mind you, I still love having my house clean, but, I'm not going to stress about it like I have the past 9 lonnnngggg months.
Heck, no!
